Invisibelt Review and Giveaway

So this unassuming little piece of plastic might just make me hate pants less. Here's why:

Because of how I'm shaped, this is what happens whenever I wear ANYTHING with a fly front. I get some popping out action from that little bit of cloth just above the button.

And it doesn't look like much, but believe me when I say that it is DEEPLY annoying. It prevents me from having a smooth silhouette any time I wear fly-front bottoms. Which is why I generally avoid and abhor them

Enter the Invisibelt.

Flattens that sucker right out. You can see the clasp in the first photo, and although it's pretty flat itself, I find it even MORE effective to tuck the clasp off to the side and just place the thin plastic strip across the pant/skirt closure.

Quite a difference, wouldn't you say? But now for the real test: Let's untuck that shirt.

Ahhhh, beautiful flatness of fly. Not saying it's the perfect solution, especially as tightening it causes some mild pooching on my sides (which is disguised here by my outer shirt), but it really is going to change how I wear pants. I am PSYCHED, peeps.

I know I can't be the only one with the Popping-Out Problem, so I've got an Invisibelt to give away to a lucky reader! Just leave a comment on this post by Midnight CST on Sunday, August 9 and I'll draw the winner at random during the following week.

Win a BB Dakota Bella Jacket

OK gang. I was late to the Twilight party, but now I'm on board. I think I chose wisely in seeing the movie first because I had none of the hangups about glossed-over-details that tormented die-hard book fans. I just enjoyed it for the fun, slightly brainless ride that it provided.

Can't say as I'm dying to ape main character Bella's schlumpy style, but she did sport a few cute-casual pieces, including this darling jacket. And now, wants YOU to have your very own BB Dakota jacket from Twilight. They've posted about the jacket in the blog, showing photos of little miss K.Stew in this cute piece. And while you're cruising around their site, scope out the cute designer dresses, including others by sassy and affordable BB Dakota.

Just leave a comment on this post before midnight CST on Sunday, July 12, and I'll pick a winner. Sorry, this contest is open to U.S. residents only.

Be sure to check back on July 13 to see if you've won!
