Breast Cancer Awareness Thermal Tee Giveaway

Did you know it's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month? It totally is. Hence all the pink you see in shop windows and on your wonderful fellow women. And in honor of this month and all it represents, the lovely folks over at jbandme.com want to give one lucky Already Pretty reader this stylish Michael Stars Breast Cancer Thermal Charitee.

To enter the giveaway, just leave a comment on this post saying why you'd like to own and wear this tee during National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Comment by midnight CST on Sunday, October 25, and I'll select a winner at random the following week.

This contest is open to U.S. residents only, I'm afraid. Next time, international readers! Also Michael Stars tees are one size, and run a bit small ... so bear that in mind when you enter.

Good luck to all!

I'd love to wear this tee for Breast Cancer Awareness month because apart from supporting a great cause which has an impact on my own and my family's life (my aunt is going through chemo now), it looks warm! And I'm lacking in warm stylish clothing. I would wear this shirt with pride, and without shivers!

I would love to because a) my mom is a survivor and I love to broadcast the message and b) I'm a grad student, and through Colleges Against Cancer own a plethora of "Save Second Base", "Squeeze a Boob, Save a Life", "I <3 BOOBS" tees (which, naturally, I love)...but on some occasions it'd be nice to have a G-rated tee.

This is the probably the most important fight the woman in my family fight. My grandmother passed away from breast cancer in 2005. My mother has battled it a couple of times and is remarkably classified as a survivor and wears her scars proudly. And I joined her side as a survivor with my own scar in 2007.

I cant tell my friends enough how important those monthly exams are, so to wear it bedazzled upon my chest would be AWESOME! That Tee would become a wardrobe staple I am sure.

And I thank God everyday that he only gave me sons. :)

My Mom is a breast cancer survivor and I have several friends that are survivors also. Unfortunately I have 3 friends/mothers of friends that have died from breast cancer. I love to do anything (including wear this great t-shirt) to raise awareness. We need to eradicate this disease-end of story!

I'd proudly wear this in honor of my friend Deb who battled stage 3 breast cancer in her 20's and is an inspiration to everyone who knows her!!

I'd proudly wear the t-shirt for just what it says : hope. I don't know anyone close to me that has battled breast cancer but I am an avid supporter of educating yourself and raising awareness. Someday we will find a cure and until that day women across the world deserve our hope and support.

Always remember your self-checks!

I would love to wear this tee because I know several women affected by breast cancer. Raising awareness is important to find a cure!

Just two weeks ago I received my mammagram report back. I was told I needed to go in to get a more detailed workup. While waiting the five days to see the Doctor I did a lot of thinking and crying. The same day my report came in I had also found out that I had Stage one skin cancer. I did find out that the mammogram needed to be redone because of "Technician error"!! I was one of the very lucky ones. I am now signing up to work with others who are not so lucky. By the way, the skin cancer was found at a very early stage. I want to do everything that I can to let everyone know that one check up and really save lives!!

I would like to win this tee and wear it to show my support for women and their families and friends fighting against breast cancer. While I have not (yet--knock on wood) been affected by this personally, my aunt passed away three years ago due to a relapse of ovarian cancer. Hopefully one day we can find cures for all of these diseases.

I just walked in the Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day last month and would love to continue to show my pride in raising cash to fight cancer! This tee can be paired with skinny jeans/black ankle pants for a night out, my other breast cancer tees cannot. Thanks!

What a great top-- I feel like breast cancer awareness is all but brushed aside in my age group. I'd love to be a visual reminder for other girls my age to stay on top of ALL aspects of our health!

It'd be nice to wear a support tee that manages to be stylish & clear about the cause it champions. Save Second Base.

I myself have not been affected within my family, but I currently have four very strong female friends that are battling this awful disease. I would like to show my support for all that they have gone through... and of course it's a Michael Stars tee and they are just fabulous!

It looks like a super comfy tee. Best of all, it
supports breast cancer awareness. My auntie died
of breast cancer.

Lots of people in my family have dealt with (and died from) cancer, but not breast cancer. I would like to show my support for cancer research and prevention. The breast cancer awareness campaign is the one that is most active and visible, and quite frankly, it's the campaign that has the most cute shirts and attention-getting advertising. The pink ribbon is far more widely recognized than the blue colon cancer ribbon.

I would wear this lovely shirt in memory of my mother Eileen Daly who was so proud to be a survivor.

I would like to wear this tee because I myself am going to be getting a biopsy on a small mass found in my right breast. I am faithful it is nothing. Also the tee would represent all the women who have battled this terrible disease.

I have about 4 or 5 friends that have had their lives personally touched by Breast Cancer. Several of them are survivors themselves, and I admire their courage and strength they had while undergoing treatments. Wearing this tee would bring awareness to others, and perhaps make them make that mammogram appointment and do their self exam regularly. Life is so busy, we all need reminders...this tee is the perfect one!

I would like to own and wear this tee in memory of my grandma, who died from breast cancer when I was 6. I never got to know here particularly well because of that. Here's an essay I wrote about her a couple of years ago: http://renewing-your-mind.blogspot.com/2007/07/piano.html

Oh, and I'll have to wait to wear it after I have my baby who is due in March. But what a great combination--breast cancer awareness while breast feeding.

I would proudly wear this shirt in honor of my dear friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer in February. She is truly an inspiration to everyone who knows her! I'm currently pretty obsessed with buying all things pink-ribbon!
