Scarpasa Shoes Review and Giveaway

When the good folks at Scarpasa dropped me a line to see if I'd like to do a review and giveaway, I squealed. You all know I love heels, but I also love walking and comfort and feet that AREN'T covered in blisters at the end of the day. You see, Scarpasa specializes in flats, wedges, and heels that are comfortable and walkable. Heels are short and sturdy, flats are designed for walking, wedges are moderate and reasonable. Add that every pair on the site is gorgeous, stylish, and funky, and you've got a win-win-win situation.

I requested the Gaimo Fuoco Sonda heeled espadrilles pictured above, and as you know, I was unable to resist wearing them several times before I had time to write up this review!

My black satin espadrilles always looked a little off, so I ended up consigning them. These tan leather and elastic strap ones, however, are perfectly summery. The heel is teensy when you consider the mitigating platform, the elastic straps lightweight and breathable, and the leather supple and soft as can be. They are a delight to wear, adorable on my feet, and ideal for hot weather wear.

So, now that I've convinced you that this website is jam-packed with foot-friendly shoes, let's get YOU in a pair, shall we?

Here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Be a U.S. resident.

  2. Leave a comment on this post telling us which pair you'd pick from Scarpasa, and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified.

  3. Sign up to receive the Scarpasa e-newsletter at the bottom left corner of this page. This step is required.

  4. Cross your fingers!

Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, August 1. I'll draw a winner at random the following week. This contest is open to U.S. readers only. Good luck, everyone!

Lillybee Shoes Review

When Simplysoles founder Kassie Rempel dropped me a note to see if I'd be interested in reviewing a pair of her self-designed line of walkable wedges and heels, I jumped at the chance. I hadn't heard of Lillybee Shoes, but was thrilled to find another option for women who love the look of heels but require comfort and practicality from their footwear.

Kassie sent me a pair of Esme wedges in Jean, and I can safely say they were the easiest shoes I've ever broken in. They felt well-worn after about an hour, and made my feet happy all day long. You can see my first Esme outfit here, if you're curious.

The denim-y blue color is a fantastic fit for my wardrobe, and that asymmetric bow is simply charming.

I see these as a decidedly summery shoe, so I'll be cramming as many wears in as possible before the weather turns on me.

More than half of the Lillybee line is on sale now, so nab a pair for yourself while the getting's good!

A-C's Crafts Review and giveaway

Did you know that gorgeous A-C of Law School Fashionista has an Etsy shop? I didn't either until she posted about it a few weeks ago! And my, my, but it is stocked with some adorable accessories. I fell in love with the polymer clay bead necklaces that her uncle makes, and she was generous enough to send me one to fondle ... I mean review.

I'm a huge fan of multicolored clothing and accessories, as I firmly believe they go with EVERYTHING. This sweet little necklace is no exception. It's bright and cheery, a great length, lightweight, and matches every color in the rainbow. Who could ask for anything more? If you're interested in nabbing one for yourself, A-C is offering 20% off to Already Pretty readers. Here's whatcha do:

Tulle Review and Coupon

The lovely folks over at Tulle found out that I'm a fan - especially of their amazing monthly Tulle's Day sales - and dropped me a note to see how we could work together. We came up with a really fun little promotion: They sent me three of my most favorite items from their current collection, and offered to give you awesome folks 25% off on all three! And since two of the three are already on sale, you'll be getting some GREAT deals.

Angora Cropped Cardigan
Regularly $17.20, $12.90 with code

Belted Scoop Back Dress
Regularly $44, $33 with code

Open Weave Knit Shrug
Regularly $35, $26.25 with code

You can get 25% off any color of these items, so if you like that shrug in Papaya instead of navy, you're still golden. Use code Pretty1 when you check out, and be sure to buy soon ... stock is already running low and the code will expire on August 6.

Also note that Tulle sizing tends to run small - check those size charts before ordering to make sure you're getting a garment that fits.

And if you're not a fan of these three items, never fear. The Tulle's Day promotions are amazing, and if you sign up for the e-newsletter you can get a head's up whenever they begin. Just scroll to the bottom of this page and click where it says "enter email to join list."

Huge thanks to Tulle for this fun promotion! I hope you ladies will snap up a few of these adorable duds. If you do, let me know how you style them. I'd love to see how YOU wear these pieces.

Land's End Canvas Review and Giveaway

You all know I'm a fan of Land's End - proud owner of their shirt dress in four colors - so when they launched their new Canvas line, I was quite excited. Land's End Canvas is aimed at a slightly younger demographic, with shorter hemlines and slightly lower prices designed to lure teens, college girls, and anyone who loves the preppy look into the LE fold. And the products are so darn cute, I'm not sure how anyone could resist them.

Land's End Canvas was kind enough to send me this Pleat Front Dress, now on sale, to check the line out for myself. As you can see, the dress is positively darling, a great cut, and a vibrant color. Construction is sound, with a second cotton voile lining the voile skirt and sturdy hems. It's pretty darned short, as are many of the skirts and dresses, so long-legged and modest women beware! But overall, this guy gets the thumbs up. It even washes well!

If you're curious about the line yourself, you're in luck! Land's End Canvas is letting me give away one of their darling Slub Cotton Scarves to a reader.

The winner will get to select any scarf currently in stock. There are so many fab colors and cute patterns, you're gonna have a tough time picking!

Here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Be a U.S. resident.

  2. Leave a comment on this post telling us how you'd style this scarf, and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified.

  3. Cross your fingers!

Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, July 11. I'll draw a winner at random the following week. This contest is open to U.S. readers only. Good luck, everyone!
