Heavy Machine Review and Coupon

I have had my Heavy Machine Retro Story pumps for an embarrassingly long time, and this review is woefully overdue. Why? Because Heavy Machine shoes are so gorgeous and covetable that it felt like a total scam to review them when you folks couldn't BUY them online!

Luckily, the fab folks who run the company have a site in place now where you can browse, drool, and purchase. AND! Get this, friends: I've got a coupon code for ya that will get you 30% off any Heavy Machine purchase.

Just enter ALREADYPRETTY before you check out, and you'll receive 30% off Heavy Machine's stunning SS10 line. Be sure to act quickly. This code expires on August 31!

Just look at the gorgeous pairs that could be yours:

Devil's Kiss

DROOL, am I right? Heavy Machine shoes are designed with comfort and walkability in mind, so the heels are manageable in height and sturdy. But, as you can see, these shoes are also sculptural, eye-catching, and unique. This brand does an amazing job of balancing form and function.

If you don't see anything to your liking in the current season's offerings, stay tuned. I've been given a preview of the upcoming line, to be released in February, and it is downright stunning. Check out these amazing styles:

Elephant Bird

Maggie Milktea

Maggie Grey

If you end up buying a pair using the coupon code, let me know. I'd love to see more of these glorious shoes in action!

Don't get me wrong, the design of these shoes is awesome, but I can't help but cringe to see "schizophrenic" in the name of the sandals. It's a serious mental condition that I don't think should be bandied around in this casual way.

Oh my I love these shoes. I actually got the schizophrenic sandals - yeah, not a great name, but a great shoe. Walked all day long in them without any trouble at all.

And the ladies who run the company are awesome. Customer service was wonderful.

They ARE art.

Thanks, Sal. I'm always in favor of people being careful about language. I'll drop them a note to ask them to do the same.

I have been drooling over these since you first wore them so this is much appreciated.

Do they fit true to size?

I LOVE these shoes! BUT like so many places, their sizes stop just short of where those of us who are taller and with just a little extra foot length need them to stop.

Gah, these are amazing!! A pair of these beauties will certainly be making its way into my closet before long. I'm also curious about the fit, Sal -- are they true to size?

Art for your feet! Picked out a pair and then discovered they don't go beyond a size 10, I'm like Paris Hilton and Uma Thurman verging on an 11 so with prices like that I need to really make sure they fit. So sad, I find more shoes that are amazing only to be stopped in my tracks when I find they don't cater to us "Model Types" which is a very nice way of saying us ladies with BIG FEET!

So luscious I am totally drooling!

Any idea if these shoes have a wider toe box? They are amazing, but if they are pointing I wouldn't be able to wear them for 5 minutes.
