Barefoot Tess Giveaway

I'm just thrilled to be giving away a pair of shoes from large size vendor Barefoot Tess. I know how hard it can be to find comfy, stylish shoes above size 10, and feel that this amazing website is a fantastic resource for ladies who wear shoes in larger sizes. They stock many styles through size 15 and carry such fabulous vendors as Blowfish, Butter, Jeffrey Campbell, Steve Madden, and Poetic License. The company ships internationally, too!

I've got a pair of shoes from Barefoot Tess's BFT line to give away to one lucky Already Pretty winner. BE AWARE: THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STOCK SIZES SMALLER THAN US 10 - unless you wear size US 10 or larger, do not enter this contest.

Here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Visit Barefoot Tess and pick out your favorite pair from the BFT line.

  2. Follow Barefoot Tess on Twitter, fan Barefoot Tess on Facebook, or sign up to receive the Barefoot Tess e-newsletter. One of these three actions is required to qualify for entry.

  3. Leave a comment on this post telling us which pair you'd pick  and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified.

  4. This contest is open to international readers.

  5. Cross your fingers!

Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, April 3, 2011. I'll draw a winner at random the following week. Good luck!

Miz Mooz Review and Giveaway

I'm extremely excited to be working once again with Miz Mooz on a review and giveaway! I was introduced to the brand last fall, and have since become a huge fan of their adorable designs, quality construction, and fabulously comfy shoes.

I was sent this darling pair of Heather sandals to review.*

It's still too cold for sandals, so I'll admit that I haven't been able to give this pair a truly thorough test run, but wearing them around the house for several hours I can say that they're just as comfortable and walkable as I've come to expect ALL Miz Mooz shoes to be. And, of course, stylish and perfectly on-trend: Gorgeous cognac leather, studs, and clog-esque wooden soles. Simply perfect for spring!

One quick thing to note: Miz Mooz shoes tend to run a bit big, and these sandals are no exception. I tend to take an 8 in pumps and sandals, and these are 7.5s. They fit like a dream. Order a half size down.

But enough about me, let's talk about you. I bet you'd love a pair of Mooz shoes for your very own, wouldn't you? Well luckily I've got a pair of Miz Mooz shoes to give away. Here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Be a U.S. resident.

  2. Visit Infinity Shoes and scope out the Miz Mooz spring offerings.

  3. Leave a comment on this post telling us which pair you'd pick from the spring line (full price items) if you won it, and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified.

  4. Cross your fingers!

Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, March 27, 2011. I'll draw a winner at random the following week. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. Good luck!

A Beautiful Abode Giveaway

Since so many style bloggers and style blog readers are also decor lovers, I can only imagine that this giveaway will make many of you ECSTATIC. A few months ago, Shauntelle contacted me about collaborating on a giveaway for her redesign service, A Beautiful Abode, and I jumped at the chance.  I'll let her give you a little background:

A Beautiful Abode is a design blog dedicated to providing tips, resources, and inspiration for creating a beautiful home on a tight budget. I founded A Beautiful Abode in 2008 when I was unable to find design blogs that focused on the kind of information I wanted. At the time I was a stay-at-home mom trying to create a beautiful home for our five-person family on one income. I wanted resources that showed me how to do that without going into debt, and I also needed projects that didn't require carpentry training!

After hearing that a lot of readers suffered from the same issues I had when I first started Beautiful (not knowing where to start or how to translate design ideas into a budget friendly project) I launched my budget-friendly virtual design service. For $75, I work with my clients to clarify their goals for a room, and then create an actionable, step-by-step design plan for them to follow to achieve their goal within their budget. This virtual design package is the prize I'm offering one of you lucky readers.

How fabulous is THAT? The winner of this contest will get to have Shauntelle do a virtual makeover for one room inside your own home!  If you're interested in winning this super cool prize, here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Visit A Beautiful Abode and check out Shauntelle's handiwork.

  2. Like A Beautiful Abode on Facebook or follow her blog via a reader. (This step is required for entry.)
  3. Leave a comment on this post telling us how you're following A Beautiful Abode, which room in your house you'd love for her to make over, and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified.

  4. Cross your fingers!

Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, March 20, 2011. I'll draw a winner at random the following week. This giveaway is open to everyone, including international readers. Prize is for consultation on ONE ROOM ONLY. Good luck, folks!

Nancy's Gone Green Review and Coupon Code

I'm always delighted to be able to give away products and provide coupon codes to Already Pretty readers, but it's so rewarding to become acquainted with new, small vendors that work to provide fun, fashionable garments and accessories in a sustainable manner. Nancy's Gone Green is just such a vendor.

This website sells a combination of vintage clothing, jewelry, handbags, and other fashionable wearables, and new clothing from some of the best eco-designers in the business. They were kind enough to send me the DARLING organic cotton dress you see above to review.* It's by a company called Giggle that utilizes organic cotton and vegetable dyes in their designs, and this particular style is called the Penny dress. People, I adore it. I can hardly wait until it warms up enough to wear it without freezing my hiney off! If you're interested in this particular dress, sizing runs pretty true - I'm generally a size 8 dress and the medium fit snugly but well. The surplice neckline is pretty low, but would probably look less so on someone with more boobage. The cotton is soft and drapes beautifully, the pattern adorable, and the design fun and flattering. Two thumbs up.

Nancy's Gone Green has given me a coupon code for Already Pretty readers! Enter gogreen15 when you check out to get 15% off your entire purchase. And since most goods in the shop are already reasonably priced, you're bound to get some great deals. The code expires March 31, so get shopping!

And if you're interested, the company is currently running a giveaway for a $50 gift card on their Facebook page. Swing by and check it out!
