Tsubo Giveaway

As always, I'm just delighted to be working with Tsubo on another review and giveaway. My love for this shoe brand is well documented on Already Pretty, and I have long considered their shoes to be my wardrobe workhorses.

I was sent these funky green Louros sandals to review.*

Oh, how I love those vibrant colors! Tsubo often shies away from bright colors in their designs, and I'm delighted to see them branching out with these sandals. They are comfortable, but they do run both long in the length and wide, in my opinion. I generally wear an 8 in Tsubos, and these 8s are quite big on me. Great news for those of you with wider feet, but means the rest of us should order a half size down for sure.

Any chance you'd like to give a pair of Tsubos a spin yourself? Well luckily I've got a pair of these Louros sandals to give away to a lucky Already Pretty reader. Here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Be a U.S. resident.

  2. Visit Tsubo and check out the Louros in scope out the Louros in green and black.

  3. Leave a comment on this post telling us how you'd style these adorable sandals if you won, and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified.

  4. Cross your fingers!

Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, April 10, 2011. I'll draw a winner at random the following week. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. Good luck!

I'd wear them with everything! Tsubo never has styles wide enough for me!

As a bit of a non-vivid-color person myself, I would prefer the black. And the fact that it runs wide? PERFECTION for my wide feet! If I had these cuties, I would have my perfect summer sandals for all my sundresses. Cause no black shoes in the summer...I take that as a mere suggestion. And then I ignore that suggestion, and wear them anyway.

I'm picturing the green shoes with a navy blue sundress.

I'm undecided! I'd either wear the green ones with my wedding dress this summer :D or be practical and get the black ones to wear with skirts--the only sandals I have are Chacos and flip flops.

Wow! Love those shoes! I just finished a chocolate brown with white dots sundress and piped the edges in that exact shade of light blue. I had thought about styling it with a pair of brown pumps I have but (upon seeing these) think that would be a little match-y. I may have to save up and buy these anyhow if/when I don't win :)

My typical summer wear is a full or A-line knee length skirt with heeled sandals. I'd wear a skirt, tank top, and green pendant necklace to match the shoes. They'd also look great with bootcut jeans and a sleeveless top with some drape, maybe a print that picks up the green color. I'd complement them with black, white, navy, and bright pink. jainkym at yahoo dot com.

Laura said...

I will try to showcase them by pairing them with the neutral colors (beige/white and Pale blue/grey) that are in the sandal strap. I will do white capris, a light gray blouse that I own and my chunky turquoise necklace.

Because I always play it safe, I would challenge myself and go for the green. I just bought my first long length sun dress and it has these exact colors.

I also have an extensive funky jewelry collection and I have white shirts (tees and button downs) that would make the jewelry and the green shoes pop.

I would also try to go out on a limb and eperiment with other colors (maybe yellow) and turquoise is always a favorite for me to play with. So maybe the green would help me step out of my matchy-matchy box.

maybe it's a wimpy answer, but i love wearing all black with a striking pop of color. i'm already 5'8 with bright orange/red hair and a some very visible tattoos so i don't need to work very hard to stand out! i would pair these with black capris (like the gap ones everyone is raving about) and a short sleeve black turtleneck. i'd add a yellow, green, or white belt to break up the monochrome.
for someone else though, who wants to wear brighter clothes, i'd love to see these with a light airy sundress. bonus points for long wavy hair under a straw hat with green sash.

For my styling so my comment is official, i would start with a green skirt and blue top that I have (I'm matchy matchy like you Sal). Would also love to get a white eyelette shift dress (which I don't own, but have my eye on at lands end canvas), and these would be the perfect spring pop with that. Would also wear them with a little sweater in blue or green (again, the matchy matchy) and dressy jeans for date night. Oh, I SO hope I win!! thanks for the chance.

I think these sandals would spur me on to actually finish my current dress-making project: an ankle-length aqua knit sleeveless dress. I'd be tempted to throw on a straw hat with a bright green ribbon to top it all off. What great sandals!

Thanks for giving us this opportunity, Tsubo and Sally.

Tsubo is one of my favorite shoe lines! I have a handful of print sundresses these sandals would be great with for summer. I also think I'd want to style them with cropped or cuffed jeans, a tucked-in white oxford, and a colorful belt.

I'd probably wear them with everything; I'm trying very hard to step out of my comfort zone and be confident just the way I am. My conservative self gets a little thrilled at the idea of being a rebel and wearing green HEELS this summer!

I LIVE in sarongs all summer, usually with a nice black or white t shirt and cropped cotton jacket to cope with air conditioning. A pair of strappy heeled sandals would really polish that look off and make it office appropriate.

I just decided the other day that I need to get my first pair of sandals in about 12 years, and I'd totally wear these with skirts (including my sweet Stephen Burrows collection Multi-colored skirt) and jeans and khakis all the time!

I have incredibly beautiful lavender denim capris. I really like green-lavender combination, it's so springy and eye-catching. Also I'd like to wear those green cuties with ivory or orange handbag, white button-down shirt and mid-brownish-beige skirt. Also I have cute floral dress from last year Liberty of London for Target collection with a lot of green and blue in it.

They scream white capris (as soon as we can) and another spring color top to complement the color.

I have a fabulous, fun white dress that I bought specifically for the summer and I would liven it up by pairing it with these sandals and letting them be the star of the show. Throw on an anklet and a complimentary summer scarf and rock it in St. Augustine on vacay!

Thanks, Sal and Tsubo!

Both the green and the black are adorable! I'd love to pair the green with a springy dress, but the black could replace my last aging pair of black sandals.... Now that would be a tough decision. :)

I am vowing to break out of my all black clothing rut. My plan is to add pops of color until I can work myself back into feeling comfortable and pretty in colors and not hiding in black.

The shoes are so cute! I would style them with a black skirt, white tee and bright blue caridgan. They are so cute I think a vivid contrasting bangle bracelet might need to be added.

I would love a slightly wide green shoe for my slightly wide feet. I'd probably wear them with crops and a bright shirt, since I don't have a cute little dress to wear with them. Ok, if I won, I'd have to buy a cute little dress for them.

How would I style these? The green ones with my pretty new high-waisted tank dress, which is mainly royal purple with tiny red/pink flowers on.
