Elizabeth Dehn Face Mist Review and Giveaway

My gorgeous and talented friend Elizabeth Dehn, the mastermind behind Beauty Bets, has recently achieved her long-time goal of formulating a line of nourishing skin care products made from 100% natural ingredients. Can we just take a moment to applaud her for that? I'm so proud, impressed, and inspired by her achievement.

Even MORE so since she gave me a set of her products to try out for myself.* As you all know, I have extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin that breaks out every time I sneeze, drink water, or think about puppies. (It's possible that I'm exaggerating, but you catch my drift.) So I must say that I was a little apprehensive about testing Elizabeth's products. But friends, I am thrilled to say that they are all absolutely marvelous.

I've been using the shea cream on my face's dry spots and under my eyes, and it has made my skin soft, plump, and radiant. The serum is now a nightly ritual for me - makes me a little too shiny for day - and has actually HELPED with my acne while simultaneously moisturizing and smoothing my skin. And the face spray? My only problem with this product is that every time I use it, I want to drink it. It smells absolutely delicious, and does everything it's designed to do: Hydrates, refreshes, and moisturizes. Utterly perfect now that we're headed into the dog days of summer.

So it's a good thing I've got a bottle of that yummy face spray to give away, isn't it? You know you're dying to try it! Here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Be a U.S. resident.

  2. Follow @byelizabethdehn on Twitter or sign up to receive the Beauty Bets e-mails (under "Subscribe to the newsletter on the right). You MUST do one of these things to enter.

  3. Leave a comment on this post telling us why you'd love to win the face spray, and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified.

  4. Cross your fingers!

Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, June 12, 2011. I'll draw a winner at random the following week. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. Good luck!

At 41 I still have stubborn, intractable acne that I just CAN'T get rid of. Most of my skin is smoothish and nice, but my chin is a never-ending horror. Consequently, I'm always looking for anything that might help (and I don't use department store/chemical-laden/artificial things on my skin). I'd love to try this and see if it might help MY acne the way it's helped your acne-prone skin. (I did the newsletter signup and the Twitter follow, and here's my email: pogacsa@earthlink.net)

Good Afternoon, I follow you on twitter and I love your blog. Congratulations to your friend for such an amazing achievement. I would love to try her product because I have sensative skin and have struggled to find a skin care line that works. Again, thanks for allowing your readers the opportunity to experience such a wonderful product. Have a great day!

These products sound absolutely wonderful, I can't wait to use them on my skin during the humid summer days in the northeast. My winter/spring products just don't cut it during this time. sidrai03(at)gmail(dot)com

I've been blessed with nice skin my whole life and therefore been very lazy about doing anything to preserve it's niceness... but now that I'm getting older it's inexplicably become problematic. I'm delighted to try anything that comes so highly recommended!

I have very sensitive skin too, and I try to use organics whenever my budget allows. If I win this mist and it helps my dry sensitive skin, I would KNOW that this is a brand I could plunk down my money for!

I'm excited to read her newsletter. 100% body care products seem like a no brainer to me! I also have fairly sensitive and acne-prone skin like you, Sally, and I'm always looking for a non-greasy way to refresh and moisturize my face in the summer.

I have super-sensitive skin that reacts even to a lot of "for sensitive skin" products. I recently switched to all-natural moisturizing products, though, and it's been amazing so far! It's exciting to find another company with such high recommendations!

I subscribed to the newsletter, and look forward to getting news from her!

I'd love to try this for a few reasons. First, the packaging is gorgeous. I just want it in my house. And second, the last few days (in MN) have been crazy humid and hot (as I'm sure you know) and it seems summer is here. I'd love this spray to keep me cool through summer!

I just turned 30. And thanks to your blog and perfectly inspiring words, my body and I are getting super along and are nearly besties now. Thank you so much for that...and for teaching me to wear belts outside-the-loops.

But my skin. My skin has gone from plump and pink and attention-grabbing to flaky and saggy-ish and ohsosad. So. Please. Help me spritz my skin to Happy Town.

Thank you. I signed up to receive her news letter.

I've never been the girl with a consistent skincare routine. I don't wear make-up very often and I've always sort of thought it was too much work. But I'm getting old enough now that I realize I need to take care of my skin, more. It won't always be youthful and radiant (drat!). So I'd love to win.

I have never tried a mist before on my face so this would be a nice treat for me.
