You've already seen me parading around proudly in my Karina dresses, and now I'm delighted to tell you a bit more about them and the company that makes them!
Karina's mission is aligned with my own: To help women with a variety of figure types and sizes feel fabulous about themselves. The dresses are designed to flatter many shapes while still remaining stylish and comfortable, and my impression is that the designs will work well for a range of body types. Sizing varies by style, and I recommend checking the detailed size listings here. Many dresses start at size 0 but some dresses only fit through a size 8 while others fit to a size 20. The material is a heavy, stretchy microfiber that drapes beautifully, never wrinkles, and washes easily. They're all made in Brooklyn in small batches, so prints tend to come in and out of rotation pretty quickly - nab 'em while you can!
I was sent the Megan and Alicia dresses to review.* You see the Megan style above, and I'm completely in love with it. Crossover style tops and dresses usually gape on me, but this one has the elegant, wrapped styling of a crossover with no gaping and a nice, modestly high neckline. The high waist works beautifully on me, and I adore the full, drapey skirt. And that print. SO cute.
These dresses are ideal for travel since they're lightweight but layerable, fold or roll up small, absolutely never wrinkle, and come in some eye-catching yet versatile prints. They'd also be great for women with active lifestyles: They're tough but flexible, stylish but comfy, and wonderfully washable. And if that's not endorsement enough? I got these two dresses to review, and then ponied up for a third one - another Megan!

I would choose the Rita in black. Beautiful and practical -- love it!

I'd choose the Carmen. I don't usually like patterns, but the one in the photos is simply gorgeous.

I love the gala dress! (helena.butters@gmail.com)
Ooo, choices, choices, choices. I'm doing some heavy-duty waffling between the Marisa and the Rita, but I think I'd have to come down on the side of the Rita. I like wrap dresses to begin with, and the drape on this one seems particularly nice.

Count me in as another fan of the Rita! In black of course:D
The Carmen in teal- I would love to wear it with a pair of wedges and channel Ms. Miranda and dance the night away!

I'd love the Gala style - that neckline is just beautiful!
I would choose Penelope in green. Love the pockets!

I love Rita and Audrey.

I really like both the Marisa and Audrey dresses -- tough choice! I'd probably go with Audrey, though; the waist looks a tad high for me on the Marisa.

I can't figure out any way to order online, though, and the stores listed don't seem to have the dresses on their websites. :(
I love the Rita dress!

never mind about the shopping - figured out. *face palm*
I absolutely adore the Penelope, tank-style, in green! I freak out over dresses with pockets!

I'd have to say that the Megan in brown and white polka dots is my favorite.

I like the cobalt Marisa. Very sleek.
Der, forgot my email! slhklein at gmail. :)
Hmmm... having a heck of a time deciding. Audrey, Gala, or Rita? They're all so beautiful! I think I'd go with Gala, in the end. Please, Mr. Random Number Generator, pick ME!!!!

Megan in brown polka dot looks great. Lots of great dresses! Ljschaben@gmail.com
Okay, I am in love with the Megan with the 3/4 sleeves, in the red flowers/beige background--it does say "unavailable" on the Shop page, though, so I would be perfectly happy with it in a nice slate blue, if possible.
Also, I love the wide range of models Karina uses: all ages, many sizes, and the sizing they use allows for women's bodies to fluctuate. I like clothes that accommodate my food babies. :)
...and, of course, my email:

Audrey would flatter my broad-shouldered figure.
If I won, I would choose the Gala dress.
wow, that's a tough one. Torn between the Rita and the Marisa - oh and the Halle! Thanks for the info, I'll be ordering something for sure :)

I would choose the Audrey in pink. Thanks for this contest! walnutco (at) gmail (dot) com

Marisa! Love the rouched cap sleeve and waist height! (The polka dot with red accent is modern with just enough of that vintage flair!) LOVE IT!

I loooooove Rita! The flounce is insane!
marybeth414 (at) hotmail (dot) com
I really like the neckline on the Rosa! The pattern is cute and perfect for a sunny day yet it can be ready for a casual workday with a nice blazer. brenenda (at) gmail (dot) com
I would choose the Megan in the black and white floral print. But all the styles and colors are lovely!
amyloope@gmail.com
I love both the Marisa and Rita dresses and Audrey. I'm leaning towards Rita in black.

wow, what amazing dresses! this is a very tough choice. I choose the Marisa in blue.
(but I also love the Gala in purple paisley and the Rita in the blue abstract print)

I would love a Marisa! All the dresses look so lovely, but I am drawn to this style the most. I don't think that dresses generally suit me, so I need a Karina dress to convince me... especially since my name is Karina!!
:)Liked on Facebook....
penelope
penelope, pockets and pleats ...oh my ! penelope is quite possibly the most pleasing pocketed dress you'll ever put on !
Would love a dress with pockets!!
i_b_erin(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
I think I'd go for the Rita.
Or the Carmen, as a close second!
margosita (at) me (dot) com
It's a tough call, but I think I would choose the Marisa (though I also love the Audrey and the Megan).
Love these dresses!
jackiewyse (at) gmail (dot) com
If I won I would pick the lovely Gala! My email is ramblingheather(at)gmail.com. Fingers crossed :)
I would very very happily try the Megan! kiekhaefer at gmail dot com
P.S. Sal - just a question of clarification - the first dress you are modeling is indeed a Marisa, not a Megan, no?
Like several here I'm torn between the Marisa and Rita--but I have to go with the Rita in that classic yet whimsical white&blue print! I just love everything about it!
lela [.] butts [@] gmail [.] com
I love the sweetheart neckline on the gala, but the marissa is lovely, too. What great dresses!
Sajohnstone at gmail.com
I would love to rock the Alicia dress in any color/print in a size 6!! But all the dresses are beautiful!! I can't wait to (hopefully) win one! :)
teeganmcfall@gmail.com
I'm torn between the audrey and the penelope, but I think the pockets on the penelope (and that lovely green fabric) are edging it out for me.
francesjsantiago (at) gmail (dot) com
I like the Audrey in the rosy print.
I love these dresses, but I will say I am a bit put off by their lack of even "regular" larger sizes in most styles, especially given the company's "celebrating women" rhetoric. Hopefully if they grow they will add sizes in plus, petite etc.
scimom1212 (at) yahoo (dot) com
I like the penelope dress.
flygirl.tutoring{at}gmail{dot}com
The Alicia (size 6-8) in ANY color or print! I have a big red scar on my chest that I prefer to cover up. Cute, comfy, work-appropriate dresses with high or one shoulder necklines are SO hard to find. I am absolutely smitten with that dress!
jvlindgren at g male dot com
Hmm I'd love the Gala in green! :)
So many to choose from so hard to choose. I love both the dresses you are wearing.

I'm so torn! The Penelope in Green would be awesome! The pockets!!!!
Ooh, they're all beautiful! I would probably go with Carmen in that fun peacock blue. If I didn't already have a black wrap dress, though, I would totally go with the Rita.
laura dot allison dot 9 at gmail dot com.
Thanks for the giveaway - I'm a delighted new reader/follower. It wasn't easy to narrow it down, but I'd choose the Megan dress.
I love the Gala! What a gorgeous neckline. Thanks for the giveaway!

Wow Rita would be a beautiful little black dress. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of some lovely dresses. roxannelisman at gmail dot com
I love the Rosa! (alexiway@gmail.com)
I absolutely adore the Marisa dress. Love love love it! Would probably choose it in one of the patterns, simply because I don't have very many awesome printed dresses.
sirenperedhil (at) msn (dot) com
Audrey in pink! So bright and sunshiney - and such a flattering shape. I may be a redhead but I can still rock the pink!
pjlietzan@hotmail.com
I went to the website and really like the dresses. Is every dress available in every print, or only ones shown? My favorite is the Marissa. I am small busted w/ hips and think it would be the most flattering. A close second is the Daisy. I love the tie dye purple one.
jchamb9654@aol.com
I love the Marissa, and Daisy is a close second. Beautiful dresses. Hard to pick a favorite.
jchamb9654@aol.com
Hard decision, but I think I like Gala the best
AnnaRUok@msn.com
I liked Karina Dresses on Facebook as tom c., and I would choose the gala dress :) 2pmishere(at)gmail(dot)com
Dresses with pockets get me every time, so Penelope it is. It's a toss up between the solid and the patterned dress, but I think I need more patterns in my wardrobe.
hnybee325@hotmail.com
I'm split between the Gala (in green) and Marisa (black & white polka dots with red flowers). I'd probably go with the Marisa though -- Sal, you've sold me!

I love the Marisa. Perhaps in blue
If I won this contest I would choose the Daisy dress. The ruffle is so cute.Fingers crossed.
These dresses are so flattering and timeless! If I had to choose one, I would pick the Audrey in the black with teeny polka dots! kerdman@slu.edu
If I win I would love Gala. I think that it would flatter my chest.
