I spent years as a single handbag girl, but I've found myself more and more keen to branch out in recent months. So when the marvelous folks at Ellington Handbags contacted me about a possible collaboration, I was delighted! It was tough to pick just one bag from their selection, but eventually I went for a classic: I was sent the gorgeous Sadie Hobo to review and keep.*
It's a very soft, slouchy hobo bag with LOTS of room and sturdy construction. The leather is a rich cognac brown with a glaze, but it's marvelously soft (unlike some stiff, glazed leathers out there.) This bag has a zip pocket and three open pockets inside. Those silver O-rings are incredibly helpful for slinging the bag around when you're in a rush, and the strap is lined with suede so it won't slip off your shoulder. How ingenious is THAT, I ask you? Bags that slide off my shoulder irritate me to no end, but this lovely hobo stays put. Even on a slippery down parka.

These are amazing bags. My purses are always so cheap and embarrassing!
