$100 CakeStyle Giveaway

Shopping can be so stressful. It takes time and energy which, for many of us, are in short supply. Enter CakeStyle, a personal styling service for busy women that delivers a box of handpicked clothing and accessories to your door each season. Their expert stylists select pieces from brands like Elie Tahari, Diane von Furstenberg, and Theory based on your fit and wardrobe needs. They send your box to your door, you keep what you love, and send back the rest. Shipping both ways and stylists' services are free!

This giveaway is a little different than most, so please take note of the following:

  • We'll be giving away a $100 credit to be applied toward a CakeStyle purchase. Please take a look a the site's pricing overview to see what you're likely to spend on a season's pickings. You'll definitely need to chip in a bit on your own!
  • You'll have to use your credit card to set up your account. A $1,000 charge will be put on your card for a few seconds, but is immediately removed. It doesn't impact your credit score. It's simply a way for CakeStyle to protect themselves when sending out products.

Got it? Wanna nab that $100 credit? Great! Here's what you've got to do to enter:
  1. Be a U.S. resident
  2. Visit CakeStyle to explore the service, offered brands, and gorgeous sample looks!
  3. Leave a comment on this post telling us why you'd love to give CakeStyle a try, and A VALID E-MAIL. Comments without a valid e-mail in the comment will be disqualified. (Best policy: note your e-mail like this: sally [at] alreadypretty [dot] com)
  4. Cross your fingers!
Enter by midnight CST on Sunday, December 2, 2012. I'll draw a winner at random the following day. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only.

Good luck!

What a great idea. I loved the sample looks but they are out of my price range.

It's a really interesting idea - while I do like doing my own shopping, it seems like it would be really cool to see what someone would pick out for me.

Lucky be the gals that can take advantage of such a service. I love my designer duds, but half the fun for me is combing through the racks at discount and consignment stores to find them at a small fraction of retail prices.

All right, I guess I'm in. Anyone who can help me to achieve (a) edgy fearless cool (b) not scare my colleagues in south-east asia (c) maintain my one bag policy even if I'm going from beers in Austin to kir in Paris to pies in London will be earnng their keep!

Shopping for me is so difficult because I live overseas (but still have an American mailing address) in places where the women are not always shaped like me and the aesthetic often differs greatly from my own. This service sounds ideal!

It would be interesting to see how an upgraded wardrobe would look compared to my current thrift choices. Sure would be worth a try!

I'm often looking for ways to try new trends and style my clothes a new way, so it would be interesting to get someone else's input
