Friends, I feel like Diane Kennedy is such a hidden gem of a designer. (Or, anyway, hidden to me as a non-Canadian!) Her gorgeous garments are made in Canada from 100% certified organic bamboo and she designs from a size Small through 3X. From the company site:
"All of our premium quality garments are ethically produced by local factories paying fair wages in Vancouver, BC. Made in Canada is taken to heart at Diane Kennedy; our regular and plus size clothing is designed in Vancouver, our fabric is knitted in Canada, and even our labels are locally made."
Amazing, right? And the clothes themselves are artistic, eye-catching, and fun to wear.
I was sent the Explore Tunic and Rejuvenate Legging - both in size medium - to try and keep.* Both pieces are fabulously soft and comfortable. I love the asymmetric detailing on the tunic, though I found the shallow cowl neckline a little fussy. I was amazed to find that a drop-waist like this could work for my figure, and am excited to try this tunic with other bottoms. The leggings fit beautifully without pinching, hit fairly high on my waist, and have held up beautifully to washing. They're spendy at $95 a pop, but made from organic materials through fair trade practices AND available through 3X in black, gray, navy, and a rich purple.
I'm honored to have been able to partner with such an amazing organization, and hope that some of you will explore Diane Kennedy's offerings! To that end, the company is offering Already Pretty readers a 15% discount on total purchase now through July 27. Just enter PRETTY15 when you check out to get the discount. Thanks to Diane Kennedy!
